Leave it to Badgal Riri to host two major events back to back! The superstar and business mogul staged arguably the most iconic moment of the New York Fashion Week 2018, closing out NYFW in style with her Savage x Fenty lingerie line on Wednesday and then went on to host her fourth annual Diamond Ball, Thursday night.
Held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City, the Diamond Ball as with past editions was hosted to raise funds for her charity The Clara Lionel Foundation which “supports groundbreaking and effective education, health and emergency response programs around the world” in honor of her grandparents. Last year, the Diamond Ball raised over $5 million dollars in support of CLF’s global education and emergency response programs around the world.
Rihanna was every inch the fashion star on the red carpet, shining bright like a diamond in an elaborately beautiful outfit designed by Alexis Mabille Couture. Before the event kicked off, other A list guests who attended the ball all strutted the red carpet looking elegant.
Some of the guests include host for the night, Issa Rae, Donald Glover aka Childish Gambino who was the night’s musical guest, Paris Hilton and Nicky Hilton, Tiffany Haddish, A$ap Rocky, Gucci Mane with his wife Keyshia Ka’Oir, Meek Mill, LaLa Anthony, Nipsey Hussle, Normani, Fabolous and more.
