We’ve picked out 4 flicks for your viewing pleasure! See below

The Life Ahead

Starring: Sophia Loren, Ibrahima Gueye
Release date: November 6

“The Life Ahead” will be available in select theaters on Friday, November 6 and streaming on Netflix on Friday, November 13. In “Life Ahead, Edoardo Ponti directs his mother Sophia Loren as survivor opposite newcomer Ibrahima Gueye. Gueye plays Momo — short for Mohammad — a Senegalese refugee whose broken family fell apart in his childhood. At first growing up under the care of the kindly neighborhood doctor (Renato Carpentieri), he’s brought over to Madame Rosa (Loren) after getting busted for attempting to rob her at the market. When the doctor forces Momo to apologize to the woman, he realizes the greater potential at hand.

Greenland

Starring: Gerard Butler, Morena Baccarin, Roger Dale Floyd, Scott Glenn, David Denman, and Hope Davis.
Release Date: October 31

John Garrity, his estranged wife and their young son embark on a perilous journey to find sanctuary as a planet-killing comet hurtles toward Earth. “The New Normal”

The New Normal revolves around the lives of four couples and a single friend as they navigate individual and collective issues of discrimination, misogyny, addiction, mental health, infertility and nepotism while trying their best to keep up appearances and escape society’s suffocating boots with their often hilarious and always surprising results; thus finding their way to a whole New Normal. This movie may not be coming to netflix just yet but the anticipation is high as The New Normal hits cinemas across Nigeria from 20th of November

Jingle Jangle : A Christmas Journey

Starring: Forest Whittaker, Michael Key
Release Date: November 13

Forest Whitaker stars as the ultimate toy inventor who’s on the brink of unveiling his masterpiece. But after it’s stolen by the dastardly Keegan-Michael Key, two children must go on an adventure to save… look, it’s a family holiday movie with John Legend songs. Netflix’s first major Christmas movie of the 2020 season was made by Philip Lawrence and John Legend? Didi you know that??

Fruitvale Station

Starring: Michael B Jordan, Ryan Coogler
Release Date: November 12

Fruitvale station tells the tragic story of Oscar Grant (played by Jordan), a young man who was killed by a BART police officer at the Fruitvale district station in Oakland in 2009. While difficult to watch at times, Fruitvale Station is a damning portrayal of police violence that, unfortunately, remains incredibly timely even seven years after its release.
