This week served us delightful fashion moments and we couldn’t get enough. From Idia Aisen’s animal print number at the Big Brother Nigeria live show to Ciara’s dazzling look at Black Girls Rock awards, Normani’s wow look at the just concluded MTV VMAs , Kim Kardashian’s Vogue Arabia fashion moments and more, it’s been back to back fashion hits. It’s so refreshing to see different designs, colours, patterns, representation on the carpets and on stage and what can we do but recognize?
Cheers to another Friday and in usual Glazia fashion, we bring you our favourite looks for the week. Shout-out to all the celebrities giving us steady doses of amazing looks week in week out.
In no particular order, these stars put their best fashion forward this week.
- Shaffy Bello
Actor and style icon, Shaffy Bello looks super exquisite in this shimmery champagne gown. Peep those unique shoes tho, plus the hair. Retro and elite.
2. Dakore Egbuson-Akande
Nigerian actor Dakore wore this traditional piece by The LadyMaker to the One Africa Global Summit 2019 London Edition. She paired it with a pair of white heels and a red purse from Kua Designs. It’s so refreshing to see our celebrities rock our home grown designers at international events and stages.
3. Ini Dima-Okojie
Looks the vision in this off shoulder number from Fablane by Derin. Cinched at the waist and fluttery and hem. Simple yet so classy and definitely set to turn heads.
4. Michelle Dede
The super eloquent actor brings the fire in this pink number by Ejiro Amos Tafiri. It’s a classic all pink Celina wrap dress, accentuating her great figure. She matched with red strappy heels and jewelry from Raya. Everything about this look is pure flames.
5. Idia Aisien
Idia Aisien was a guest judge on Darling Nigeria’s hair task on the Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem show. She wore this outfit by S. B Youme. It comprised of leopard patterned sheer top with exaggerated sleeves tucked into purple pants. The TV host and fashionista was trending on Twitter and Instagram all day and the next for her look and her judging decisions, but we’re sure the designer must have been grinning from ear to ear. Go Idia Aisien!
- Temi Otedola
This style star is bent on making our list every week and we’re not complaining! This outfit is giving me concrete retro vibes. Looks like a shot out of an old movie about Texas ranch owners and she is probably an heiress. This self styled look is made up of a tulle dress with pleats and ruffles plus a corset and ankle boots. Somebody cast her already!
- BamBam
Big Brother Naija alum Bambam looks majestic as styled by MedlinBoss in this green high low coat worn over black camisole paired with black pants and black heels. A black or brown bob compared to the Daenerys situation she chose, may have worked best. Great look nonetheless, the mother of dragons will be proud!
- Linda Osifo
Nigerian actor Linda Osifo attended the African fashion week Awards held in Toronto in this blue floor length dress by Jane Michael Ekanem. She paired it with an animal skin bag and turban. Peep that sheer detail though!
- Yvonne Jegede
The Nigeria actor and new mom shared these sultry chocolatey pictures of her in a dark shimmery dress from Tiannah’s Place Empire. Finishing off the look with bronze heels to highlight her eye makeup and dress embellishment was just perfect!
- Tubobereni S.
The creative director of luxury women’s wear line Tubo Woman, looks ravishing in this olive number from her brand. Peep how snatched her waist is. Love the design of the sleeves, long sleeved but awesome. She accessorized with an olive green turban and metallic heels.
