Olamide Gbenga Adedeji, also known as Olamide Baddo is a Nigerian rapper and singer. He is one of the most biggest and influential artists in Africa, with a career spanning over a decade. He began his career in 2010, when he released his debut single “Eni Duro”. Olamide has since gone on to win several awards both locally and internationally. His record label and philanthropic gestures

Aside from being a force in the Afrobeats industry; Olamide has not only created a name for himself but has done the same for others. The YBNL record label boss is also signed to Empire record; an American distribution and record label. Using his record label as a platform, he has been credited with single-handedly lifting many young talents into the spotlight. Some of these talents have hence grown to become big or fast-rising stars in the music industry. Lil Kesh, Adekunle Gold, Chinko Ekun, Fireboy DML, Naira Marley, and fast-rising singer Asake are all part of the list.

It is beautiful to see Nigeria boast of Music superstars that put the country on a global map. But it is a greater feat to see these superstars help young talents grow and rise through the ranks. We’re proud of our man of the week. See others HERE.
