This week has been an amazing week for melanin beauties around the world with the release of brown skin girl by Beyoncé featuring WizKid and Saint Jhn. The song has become a crowd favorite from Beyoncé’s Lion King: The Gift album because it tells every black girl to embrace and love her skin a.k.a. body positivity. Queen Beyoncé also referenced a couple melanin queens like Naomi Campbell, Lupita Nyong’o, Kelly Rowland etc.. My favorite lines from the beautiful song are “there’s complexities in complexion“ and “same skin that was broken be the same skin taking over“. Apt! This is definitely one of my favourite looks from Wofai. She was spotted in Egypt in this two piece from Wodibenuah. The fabric, the style, the colours were perfect. The choice of her purse and shoes? Perfect. Too much sauce!
