It was a day to remember at the Ecobank Pan African Centre (EPAC) in Victoria Island, Lagos, Nigeria where BellaNaija hosted its 2023 edition of the BellaNaija Style Digital Summit (#BNSDIGITALSUMMIT) on the 23rd of September, 2023. The Summit brought together some of the best and brightest minds in business, career, fashion, style, entrepreneurship, content creation, public relations, and more.
The Summit witnessed the presence of Omawumi Ogbe, the Managing Partner at GLG Communications and Editor-in-Chief of Glazia, and Beauty Tukura, the 43rd Miss Nigeria and Glazia cover girl.

In her panel session, “The Creator Roundtable” Tukura recounted her journey to becoming Miss Nigeria and how the experience had a profound impact on her confidence.
“As a Queen, you’ll walk into every room. Immediately you introduce yourself, people want to hear what you have to say. Pageantry taught me how to network with people, pageantry taught me about structure,” Beauty shared.
She also emphasized the importance of confidence and self-belief in achieving success, encouraging others to step into their own power.
“I know a lot of creative people who are not confident. If you don’t share your content, how do you know that people would actually resonate with this?” She posed.
The summit served as a platform for attendees to gain insights, connect with like-minded individuals, and expand their horizons in the fashion and media industry.
Glazia editor-in-chief and GLG Communications Managing Partner, Omawumi Ogbe graced the event with her expertise in public relations. She shared valuable insights on how to pitch a fashion brand to the press.
“What makes a compelling press pitch? A compelling pitch is one that it is newsworthy. One that grabs the attention of journalists and encourages them to cover your story. Come from a place of value,” Omawumi advised.
