In April 2020, Karibi Fubara was diagnosed with a large mid-stage kidney cancer and he had openly shared about his surgery survival and recovery journey.
He has acted in some major Nollywood movies including God Calling, Quam’s Money, Royal Hibiscus Hotel and Smart Money Woman and more.
His family confirmed Wednesday that the actor had lost his almost 2-year battle with kidney cancer.

Karibi Fubara is survived by his wife, Nollywood costume designer & producer, Yolanda Okereke, his aged parents and siblings.
