South-African born Elon Reeve Musk is an entrepreneur, founder, CEO, and Chief Engineer at SpaceX; early-stage investor, CEO, and Product Architect of Tesla, Inc.; founder of The Boring Company; and co-founder of Neuralink and OpenAI.
The billionaire is also known for constantly sharing controversial opinions on Twitter; advocating for free speech, retweeting tweets and commenting like everyone else regularly, setting him apart from other billionaires who use social apps occasionally .
It was therefore no surprise when Twitter announced Musk’s acquisition of a 9.2% stake in Twitter worth $3bn, making him the app’s largest shareholder.
Also, the Tesla CEO is joining the board of Twitter, thereby becoming a decision maker in the social app’s policies going forward .

Moreso, it appears Musk has begun work immediately as he is already asking for opinions on the edit button . “Do you want an edit button?” he asked in a poll yesterday. And to a twitter user who asked if the laughing emoji feature in DMs could be fixed, he replied, “That is harder than a boss battle in DS3!”
