Alicia Keys gets her first win as coach on NBC’s singing competition, The Voice. Knoxville, Tennessee, native Chris Blue, a pop and R&B singer, took the crown at the grand finale on Tuesday Night.  In a close voting race, Blake Shelton’s team member Lauren Duski was 1st runner up while Aliyah Moulden, also of Team Blake, came in third, and Jesse Larson, from  Adam Levine’s team took fourth place.

Chris Blue’s win is quite inspirational as he was the final contestant to be chosen in the blind auditions. Blue was so far down on the blind auditions list that by the time he performed “Tracks of My Tears” in front of the coaches, their teams were practically filled except for Alicia Keys who was happy to welcome Blue to her team.
