With so many TV shows airing across linear networks and streaming services, it can be a bit difficult to keep up with which series have been renewed and which ones have been canceled. However, we are here to help you keep track of all of your favorite programs, by letting you know which of them have been renewed for another season. Since we brought you the sad news of the shows that had been abruptly cut, we thought it’ll be great to soothe the hurt with the shows that have been renewed for a next season.
Below is a list of some TV Shows that have been renewed for the 2020/2021 season.
The Resident
Starting off our list today is the Resident. The ace Fox TV show has been renewed for season 4, and we couldn’t be happier. The show has Matt Czuchry and Emily VanCamp as its star casts.
CBS TV Shows
The CBS TV house has released a list of its shows that have been renewed, the list includes shows like the FBI: Most Wanted. In additional to FBI Most Wanted, other shows slated to return with new seasons include the dramas FBI, All Rise (which broke ground with its unique quarantine episode), Blue Bloods, Bull, MacGyver, Magnum P.I., SEAL Team, and S.W.A.T., along with NCIS and spin-offs NCIS: New Orleans and NCIS: Los Angeles. Plus, the comedies Bob (Hearts) Abishola,
The CW Shows
The CW in a massive renewal move, announced that it has handed out early renewals to 13 of its current series for next season. The lucky shows include Riverdale, The Flash, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Supergirl, All American, Black Lightning, Batwoman, Dynasty, Legacies, Charmed, Nancy Drew, In the Dark, and Roswell, New Mexico.
Apple TV+
Apple TV+ launched recently, however, every show that premiered at its launch is slated to return for a second season. SEE, the most prominent show is on the list, as well as Dickinson, For All Mankind, and The Morning Show, have all been picked up for second seasons.
ABC TV Shows.
In an unsurprising move, ABC has renewed Black-ish for a seventh season. The same positive fate has met the other two shows by Kenya Barris – Mixed-ish and Grown-ish
The Good Doctor has also been picked for another season. The hit ABC medical procedural series starring Freddie Highmore will officially be back for Season 4.
The good news does not end there; as we can rest assured that the firefighters of Station 19 are coming back for season 4. The news isn’t surprising considering Shondaland’s red-hot firehouse drama is ranked number one in its timeslot on Thursday nights.
McMafia
Mcmafia is one of those shows that we had lost hope on ever continuing considering its first season ended almost two years ago, but we are over excited that the show is coming back.
The AMC show centers on Alex Godman, the English-raised son of Russian mafia exiles, who has spent his life trying to escape the shadow of their past, building his own legitimate business and forging a life with his girlfriend, Rebecca. But when a murder unearths his family’s past, Alex is drawn into the criminal underworld where he must confront his values to protect those he loves. This one really makes us giddy.
