Apart from Rema, Mavin is home to a talented roster of artists, including Ayra Starr, Ladipoe, and Johnny Drille, who have all made significant contributions to the label’s success. Ayra Starr’s “Rush” earned a nomination for the inaugural Best African Music Performance Grammy, further cementing Mavin’s reputation for nurturing exceptional talent.

UMG’s investment in Mavin will amplify the label’s reach and capabilities, leveraging UMG’s extensive global network. Despite this partnership, Mavin will retain autonomy over its operations, ensuring continuity in its strategic vision and talent development initiatives.

Don Jazzy expressed his pride in Mavin’s achievements, emphasizing the label’s commitment to promoting African music worldwide. Tega Oghenejobo echoed this sentiment, highlighting UMG’s role as an ideal partner for Mavin’s growth aspirations.
