Situated in Nigeria’s capital, Abuja, the Light Academy offers a comprehensive education from nursery to secondary levels. Notably, the Archewell Foundation, in collaboration with the GEANCO Foundation, had previously donated school supplies and menstrual products to support young women’s education in Nigeria. The GEANCO Foundation, known for its significant contributions to healthcare and education in the country, continues to play a vital role in fostering development and empowerment.

Accompanying the Sussexes are members of their staff and their close friend and photographer, Misan Harriman, adding a personal touch to their charitable endeavours.

The visit to Nigeria was initiated upon the invitation of Nigeria’s Chief of Defense Staff, highlighting the couple’s commitment to supporting causes related to education and military welfare. In the afternoon, Prince Harry will extend his support to injured service members at the Nigerian Army Reference Hospital in Kaduna State.
