In 2021, her debut hit track titled “Away” was released. The track made its way to top 17 on the US Billboard Top Thriller Global. Much later in the same year, the singer released her first album “19 and Dangerous”.

At the recently held 15th Headies Awards Night, the singer won her second award ever in the music industry — The Headies Award for Viewer’s Choice. She had won the Breakout Artist of the Year Award at the Net Honours earlier this year; and she was also nominated for the Headies Next Rated Award, alongside the winner Buju, Lojay, Zinoleesky and Ruger.

Interestingly, the cotonou-born Nigerian has always been around. At age sixteen, she worked as a model in the fashion industry before ditching it for music. This and many more are the reasons she is our woman of the week.
