Beyond Limits, a pan-African organization driving digital transformation, hosted its inaugural tech ecosystem mixer, DICE 2023 in Lagos on November 8th. DICE, an acronym for Digital Innovation and Creative Excellence.
The event aimed to foster networking, exchange insights, and inspire stakeholders in the tech, creative, and business communities.
The DICE 2023 Report
The resulting DICE Report, available for free download at dice.beyondlimitsafrica.com, provides comprehensive industry insights, serving as a blueprint for entrepreneurs, investors, policymakers, and advocates.The report dedicates pages to each panel and their key learnings, including a SWOT overview of the African tech ecosystem. It distills the event’s high points into actionable takeaways and recommends short-, medium-, and long-term strategies for sustainable growth.
With over 250 participants, including founders, investors, creators, media, and regulators, discussions highlighted the importance of connections, networks, partnerships, policy, and public-private collaborations to unlock the continent’s potential.
Speakers and panelists
Leading creatives—Broda Shaggi, Tomike Adeoye, and Miss Techy—seasoned entrepreneurs—Iyin Aboyeji, Damilola Olokesusi, and Solape Akinpelu—and industry veterans—Kola Aina, Funke Opeke, and Amal Hassan Wada—contributed to the richness of the exchange at the event, fostering a sense of collective responsibility for the growth and sustainability of Africa’s ecosystem.
