The Critics’ Choice Awards were held last night, Sunday the 13th in Santa Monica, California. The 25th annual award which honors both film and television projects in the year under review was hosted by veteran actor, Taye Diggs who did not disappoint. Diggs made sure the guests at the 2020 Critics’ Choice Awards laughed throughout the ceremony which aired live on The CW from 7-10 p.m.

Eddie Murphy received a lifetime achievement award, while Kristen Bell was honored with the #SeeHer Award. The top prize for best picture went to “Once Upon A Time … In Hollywood.” Other winners were Joaquin Phoenix for best actor for Joker, Renée Zellweger for best actress for Judy, Brad Pitt for best supporting actor for Once Upon a Time in Hollywood, Laura Dern for best supporting actress for Marriage Story and The Irishman for best ensemble.

On the TV side, Fleabag winning streak just won’t let up as  it was named best comedy series with Succession winning best drama series while When They See Us earned best limited series honors.
