If the term “power couple” needed a face, it would be Jay Z and Beyoncé. The Carters have been famous for their astounding accomplishments individually and as a couple. That is not to say they are invincible though, because like every other marriage, they have gone through quite a number of marital ups and downs. He is also the founder of Roc Nation, the 40/40 club, and co-founder of Rocawear.
He once acquired TIDAL, the first global music streaming service with high fidelity sound, video etc., which he earlier in 2021 sold his majority ownership to Square Inc. He is a member of Square board. He holds numerous Grammy awards as well as other prestigious awards, truthfully too numerous to mention in this segment.

Beyoncé Giselle Knowles Carter is an American singer, songwriter and actress. Beyoncé was a member of the famous girl group Destiny’s Child before breaking out to ply her trade as a solo artist; which she shined brightly in, with numerous awards and achievements to show. She featured in Hollywood movies such as Fighting Temptation with co-star Cuba Gooding Jr, The Pink Panther and most recently starring in the Lion King as Nala.
Beyoncé is the queen of Grammys as she has a total of 28 Grammy wins, making her the singer with the most Grammy awards. She is also a successful entrepreneur with her clothing brand Ivy Park Collections, and a global fashion icon. Know some more about Beyoncé HERE.
When Jay-Z met Beyoncé
The pair really do a good job at keeping their private life, as very little is known about the details of their romantic life. What we do know though is that the power duo met aboard a flight in 2000, where they were seated together on their way to MTV Spring Break Festival.
They started a friendship and later went on their first date in 2001 at Nobu, a famous celebrity restaurant. The couple continued together and collaborated for business purposes. In 2008 it was discovered the couple had gotten married on April 4 2008 in a private event and they have 3 kids together, Blue Ivy, Sir and Rumi.
