Award winning  writer and activist Chimamanda Adichie was spotted at the Christian Dior haute couture spring 2020 fashion show in Paris supporting her friend, Maria Grazia Chiuri, creative director at Christian Dior.

The writer who is a lover of fashion herself attended the show looking remarkable in a burnt orange long sleeved top from one of Nigeria’s leading designers The Ladymaker over a frilly tulle skirt from Dior. Pairing this look with blue pumps knocked it right out of the park.

She shared moments of the fashion show on her Instagram story.

Chimamanda Adichie has always been passionate about fashion. She started a Wear Nigerian campaign where she constantly wears outfits by Nigerian designers to major events anywhere in the world. Her own little way of showcasing Nigerian fashion to the world. Chimamanda  also invited Maria Grazia to Nigeria last December and organised a series of events, which ended with a Wear Nigeria fashion show, a platform created for Nigerian designers to showcase their talents and also a platform for a much needed conversation about exchanging culture, nurturing budding talent etc.

In years to come, people are going to talk about this union between Chimamanda Adichie and Maria Grazia Chiuri and how much impact it has had on the feminism movement.
