Yesterday being the 4th of May would have been this years MET Gala Event. Formally called the Costume Institute Benefit, the Met Gala was established in 1973, it is a fundraiser for the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York City, acting as the kick-off for the Costume Institute’s annual exhibit. In recent years, it has become more than that. It is now one of fashion’s biggest night with attendees ranging from movies stars, musicians, models, entertainment executives strutting the red carpet in their audacious best representations of the theme. 

Although this year’s event has been postponed due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Glazia is reminiscing on some of the most powerful and iconic looks to ever hit the MET Gala. 

From Trevor Noah’s simple outfits to the ever daring looks from Lady Gaga, here are ensembles we’d never forget in a hurry or basically ever.
