Oscar Pistorius

For the past 30 days, Oscar Pistorius had been a patient at the Weskoppies Psychiatric Hospital, Pretotoria,South Africa after the Judge in charge of the trial Thokozile Masipa ordered  that Pistorius be observed by a panel of four mental health experts for up to 30 days. This was as a result of the defense’s expert witness psychiatrist who said she diagnosed Pistorius with generalized anxiety disorder.

Acording to the panel of experts, Pistorius knew right from wrong when he killed Reeva, he did not suffer from any form of mental illness that impacted his ability to determine right from wrong when he shot her.

The South African sprinter is accused of gunning down girlfriend Reeva Steenkamp through a locked bathroom door in his home on Valentine’s Day of 2013. Pistorius though admitted to the shooting, pleaded not guilty to premeditated murder, alleging that he mistook Steenkamp for a burglar.
The trial resumes, what do you think Pistorius’ verdict would be?
