Ironically, there are some other places you don’t hear about that often, yet they are some of the most beautiful places you can ever visit.
Not only are these cities beautiful, they are blessed with spectacular landscapes. Interesting to note is that these cities hold some historical symbolisms you will always live to remember. Their breathtaking scenery will give you stories to tell your friends and family even many years after visiting.

Sarandë, Albania
Sarandë, or Saranda, is a coastal town in Albania. Geographically, it is situated on an open sea gulf of the Ionian Sea in the central Mediterranean, about 14 km east of the northern end of the Island of Corfu. Saranda typically has over 300 sunny days a year.
Sarandë provides a balance of historical sites and relaxing beaches. The remains of a 5th-century synagogue and Lekuresi Castle from the Ottoman period transport visitors back to ancient history, and Mirror Beach, Santa Quaranta Beach, and Pulebardha Beach are popular hotspots.
Near Sarandë are the remains of the ancient city of Butrint, UNESCO World Heritage site.
In recent years, Saranda has seen a steady increase in tourists, many of them coming by cruise ship. Visitors are attracted by the natural environment of Saranda and its archaeological sites.
Málaga, Spain
Málaga is a municipality of Spain, capital of the Province of Málaga. It is the second-most populous city of Andalusia after Seville and the sixth most populous in Spain. It lies on the Costa del Sol (Coast of the Sun) of the Mediterranean, about 100 kilometres east of the Strait of Gibraltar and about 130 km north of Africa.
Cities like Madrid, Barcelona, and Seville are all popular destinations in Spain. In addition, Malaga’s claims to fame is linked with it being the birthplace of artist Pablo Picasso. (the Picasso Museum holds 4,251 of his works).
Furthermore, Hebrew poet and Jewish philosopher Solomon Ibn Gabirol and the actor Antonio Banderas were also born in Málaga.
Djenné, Mali
Djenné, is a town and an urban commune in the Inland Niger Delta region of central Mali. The town is the administrative centre of the Djenné Cercle, one of the eight subdivisions of the Mopti Region. The commune includes ten of the surrounding villages and in 2009 had a population of 32,944.
The city of Djenne is famous for the Great Mosque which was built in 1907. To the south of the town is Djenné-Djenno, the site of one of the oldest known towns in sub-Saharan Africa.
León, Nicaragua
León, was founded in 152, and is one of the oldest colonial cities in the Americas. Aside from museums, churches, and architecture, it is also home to eight volcanoes. Amazing right?
León is the second largest city in Nicaragua, after Managua. Founded by the Spanish as Santiago de los Caballeros de León. León, is the capital and largest city of León Department.
Cafayate, Argentina
Cafayate was once named one of the best wine destinations in the world. Aside from scenic vineyards and wine hotels, Cafayate also features Quebrada de las Conchas, a UNESCO World Heritage Site where visitors can hike among formations of vibrant red rock.
The city is an important tourist centre for exploring the Calchaquíes valleys. Cafayate is also very attractive to tourists, because of the quality and originality of the wines produced in the area.
