Wizkid was interviewed by Revolt TV where he talked about why African artistes find it difficult to make it to mainstream airwaves and break into the global markets like other countries have.
in his words: “In Africa, at the type of studios we record in, we don’t have the same software to mix our records properly,” this sound issue according to him may be one of the reasons why African artistes don’t get the desired attention overseas. He however ended positively by talking about his upcoming project.

“I’ve been blessed to record in the U.K. and the U.S. and my stuff is getting mixed properly. I’m working with top producers on my project so I just feel like with that… my sound is going to get recognition out here.
