Gbadamosi’s Keynote Conversation

During the keynote conversation led by David Oke, Gbadamosi shared her inspiration for the new books. Following the success of her 2022 release, Unleash Your SuperPowers, she created a version for younger audiences. “It’s important for young people to figure out their talents and personality types early on, something many of us didn’t discover or pay attention to until we were older,” she remarked.

Stages of Unleashing SuperPowers

Gbadamosi explained the stages of unleashing one’s SuperPowers, emphasising that raw talents must be developed intentionally to become strengths. “Your talents in their raw forms are not strengths—aka SuperPowers. You need to develop them intentionally. When you discover, develop, and deploy your talents into strengths, they become SuperPowers, and you can dominate with them!” She urged parents, guardians, and teachers to help teens recognise their strengths, highlighting the crucial role of supportive adults.

Event Highlights

The event featured a performance by 9-year-old saxophonist Nifemi Adewole, known as Pink Sax Girl, and an experiential personality test designed by the author. The excitement peaked with an impromptu speech competition judged by Keke Hammond, Rolake Akinkugbe Filani, and Adeniyi Adenubi. Vivian Fowler Memorial College for Girls triumphed over King’s College and Supreme Child Schools, winning a cash prize of 100,000 Naira.

Unleash Your SuperPowers

The event concluded with a vote of thanks from Gbadamosi, followed by an energetic aerobic dance session led by the BMF Dance Crew, leaving guests in high spirits.
