The festival’s emphasis on collaboration allows for knowledge sharing and mentorship, critical for nurturing the next generation of African designers. “We need to embrace what we have, we have the materials and the talent hence it’s essential that we create an environment where young designers feel supported and inspired,” Ogufere remarked.
