On the 13th of October, the prestigious Oriental Hotel ballroom in Victoria Island, Lagos, played host to “The Mental Health Conference 2.0.” This grand event brought together a diverse group of mental health and wellness professionals, elite attendees, industry leaders, press crews, and well-meaning Nigerians. Organised by the renowned psychotherapist and Africa’s leading mental health advocate, Dr. Maymunah Yusuf-Kadiri, who boasts over two decades of experience, the conference featured guests from all over Nigeria, parts of Africa, and a robust online audience from around the globe.

“Our true identity isn’t found in what we do, what we own, or what others think of us. It’s found in our awareness, capacity for growth, and ability to remain connected to ourselves even as life changes around us.”
