The Spice TV lifestyle awards, Spice Honors were held on Wednesday the 5th of December at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos. Hosted by Jocelyn Dumas, the event honored some of the biggest names in fashion, entertainment and business. D’Banj, OC Ukeje, Uche Pedro and Dangote Foundation were among individual and corporate brands who received awards at the inaugural edition of the award.
African fashion designers like Lanre Da Silva, Deola Sagoe, Ohimai Atafo, Chuulapp, Orpaleng, Osei Duro and Torlowei also showcased their works. Guests in attendance were treated to live performances from alternative Nigerian musicians, including Asa, Adekunle Gold, Bez, Falana, Teni and Ladipoe. As usual, celebrities got dressed in their finery for the event. In no particular order, here’s a list of our favorite looks from the red carpet. These celebs were all rocking African designs, except for Toke Makinwa who looked too good to ignore in an all black ensemble from Zara.
