Olivier Rousteing is the youngest (27) in charge of a Paris house, and he has been in the position for three years. The charming and guileless Creative Director for Balmain presented a military/samurai inspired looking AW14 collection in Paris yesterday.

Balmain has this way of spelling luxury and lushness in their pieces and this collection was no different. Some of us who were hoping that Balmain would surprise us with Rihanna (face of the AW14 collection) walking on the runway were a little bit disappointed but the show was perfect really. Rihanna who didn’t make it on time to meet the actual show, waited discreetly outside in her car for the show to be over before going backstage to meet Olivier Rousteing. Next time Olivier and Rihanna huh? *hint hint*
