In a historic achievement, actors Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman have clinched two Guinness World Records titles just ahead of their highly anticipated film, Deadpool & Wolverine. The Marvel icons were surprised with the official Guinness World Records (GWR) certificates during an interview on ITV’s *This Morning*, hosted by Alison Hammond.

Celebrating Wrexham’s Legacy

Reynolds, who co-owns Wrexham AFC, was first awarded a certificate recognising the Racecourse Ground in Wrexham, Wales, as the oldest international football ground. The historic venue has been continuously used for 147 years and 31 days as of April 5. An emotional Reynolds expressed, “This means so much to me and my Welsh ancestors.”

The duo also celebrated a shared accolade for Deadpool & Wolverine, which achieved the most viewed movie trailer in 24 hours. Premiering during Super Bowl LVIII, the trailer amassed an astonishing 365 million views globally from February 11-12. Reynolds exclaimed, “What? One million for every day of the year, that’s so awesome!”

Jackman’s Record-Breaking History

Interestingly, the surprise presentation came just after Reynolds reminisced about Jackman’s first GWR certificate, which he received five years ago on *This Morning*. In 2019, Jackman was awarded for having the longest career as a live-action Marvel superhero, a childhood dream fulfilled. “When I was a kid, the Guinness Book of Records was it,” Jackman had explained.

Dynamic Duo on and off Screen

During the interview, Hammond inquired about their experience working together on the new film. Jackman praised Reynolds, saying, “He is singular, as a writer, producer, and co-star. Honestly, the best I’ve ever seen.” Reynolds humorously responded, “As a co-star and a dance partner, I have had better. Better is the legal name of my last co-star.”

Deadpool & Wolverine is set to hit cinemas on July 26th, it promises to be a cinematic event not to be missed.
