After a decade-long break from fiction, best-selling and award-winning author, Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie is set to release her highly anticipated new novel, Dream Count, on March 3, 2025. Published by 4th Estate in the UK and Commonwealth, and Knopf in the US and Canada, this novel marks Adichie’s return to the literary spotlight with a powerful exploration of love, friendship, and the complexities of the human heart.

“DREAM COUNT is contemporary: Covid. Sexual assault inspired by a true story. Depression. A man’s extreme ‘ghosting’ of a woman. Fibroids. Teenage self-esteem. PMS. But also timeless: Injustice. Dignity. Regret. What is a full life? What does ‘meaning’ mean?”

Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie describing her latest body of work.
