It was another huge industry night, as the crème de la crème of Nollywood turned up at the EbonyLife Place on Sunday 9th October 2021 for the premiere of the Charge and Bail movie, a collaborative project of Inkblot Production and FilmOne Entertainment. The event was attended by the Charge and Bail star cast and crew, as well as ex housemates of the just concluded Big Brother Naija Shine Ya Eye reality TV show.
Since the Charge and Bail movie trailer release, which was met with much warmth and acceptance, anticipation for the full movie has only been on a constant rise, and with the movie premiere being a resounding success, all fingers are crossed for the full movie.
About the Charge and Bail movie.
Charge and Bail is a comedy-drama that follows a young woman Boma (Zainab Balogun) a high-flying lawyer from the upper class who finds herself posted to a Charge and Bail law firm run by Dotun (Stan Nze), and his brother Wole (Femi Adebayo) during her NYSC Service Year. A culture clash ensues between the haves and the have nots as Boma tries to navigate her new world.
About the Premiere
The premiere was themed “Guilty as Charged” and trust us when we say that the attendees fully understood the assignment. From the prison colours, to handcuff accessories, law enforcement costumes and more, the stars came prepared.
