As part of the precautionary measures put out by WHO and NCDC, in the wake of the pandemic, individuals are to boost their immune system as regularly as possible. This means we need to consume (food or drink), things that will improve our cells, and body defenses.

Being that we all need to boost our immune system, there are a couple of foods that are great immune boosters and one of such is Broccoli. Most people do not like broccoli but it is a really great source of Vitamin K, Vitamin C, Calcium, Vitamin A and Potassium.

Are you thinking what I am thinking? Maybe we can recommend broccoli to the state government as potent immune booster? Let us Know in the comments. So, what we need for this sauce is a couple of things which are also great for the immune system.

Cabbage

Broccoli

Carrots

Boneless chicken (this should be boiled and sliced thinly)

Bell peppers (I love using the three colors just to make the dish colorful)

Chili pepper

Leek

Onion

Garlic

Oil (olive, groundnut, canola).

Broccoli

  1. First off, we have to wash our hands (It is the law). Then wash and slice all your vegetables, you can slice however you want. Thinly or in large chunks. I prefer medium sized.
  2. Next, we put our pan on the fire with oil in it.
  3. Then we grate our garlic in the oil, this produces a really nice scent. Add your onions and stair.
  4. Add your already cooked chicken and stair for a few minutes.
  5. Add your bell peppers
  6. Add Leek
  7. Add Chili pepper, salt, Maggi or Knorr cube,
  8. Then add Carrots, stir gently and allow to simmer for 1 minute.
  9. Next add your cabbage and let it set then we add the broccoli. Stir properly so the seasonings do not settle in some parts.
  10. We do not want all our vegetables to get soft. They should still retain their crunch.
  11. If you want you can add soy sauce and stir properly.
  12. Your sauce is ready be served!

This dish can be served with rice or eaten with pita bread. You can also eat it alone.

We will be bringing more recipes your way to help during these trying times.
