Fashion is here for a time but style is forever. Your personal style has a lot to do with your personality, it is what differentiates you from the next person. You can also tell another’s style from how they choose to express themselves through fashion.
The same applies to celebrities. From the simple and laid back, to the nonchalant to the downright extra, each week, celebrities serve us a dish from their pot of style. Here are our favourite looks for the week.
- Eyinna
Nollywood actor Eyinna took a time out from being laid back and dressed up for a private dinner in skinny jeans, black turtle neck, and a turquoise green kimono paired with a wine red beret. Eyinna is known to keep it pretty basic with his get up so it feels good to see him put in a little more.
- Michelle Dede
The actor hit the just concluded AFRIFF in a self styled orange combo from Yutee Rone Atelier. The pair of pants she had a cape over one leg sleeve to give it that that extra twist. She opted for brown platform heels for shoes.
- Ola Adewale
The young designer brought a twist to pants as we know them. Here she is in one of her very own creations. Mustard colored pants with wrap detail at the waist making it look like you tied some fabric at the hip. She paired it with a channel button up shirt.
- Nse Ikpe-Etim
Making her debut on our list is award winning actor Nse. She attended the AFRIFF 2019 Awards, styled by Flostyling in a navy blue jumpsuit from LadyBeellionaire. The conservative look was highlighted with a splash of colour with her pink pointy toe pumps.
- Chika Ike
Actor and Business woman Chika Ike snatched whatever was left of our edges with this fire gown from Gemy Maalouf. The floor length gown is a great piece of fine art and Chika did justice to it. She accessorized delecately with diamond earrings and rings.
- Simidrey
The Nigerian OAP stunned in this onion gold dress, embellished with chiffon for ruffles at the side through to the top till it formed one sleeve. For her feet, she chose a gorgeous nude pumps and silver earrings.
- Empress Njamah
Nollywood actor, entrepreneur and philanthropist Empress, celebrated her birthday during the week and in usual celebrity fashion, served her fans a variety of delicious looks, one of which is this black number by Kiki Benjamin. The gown is a mixture of two fabrics- sequin and a feathery fabric. The gown had a thigh high slit and a plunging neckline. She paired it with a round diamond earrings, necklace, and a pair of pointy toe black strap heels.
- Ini Edo
The award winning actor outdid herself with this gorgeous shimmery peach gown. Off the shoulder and floor length gown highlighted her figure and her gorgeous skin. Totally loved that she kept the accessories to a minimum to let the dress shine. She paired it with a silver clutch and heels.
- Tiwa Savage
Award winning singer Tiwa Savage served us a piece of the savage slay in head to toe white. She also accessorized with diamond face chain, necklaces and rings. She paired it with a white purse, accompanied with two Rolls Royces. Okrruut!
- Omotola Jalade Ekeinde
The elegant star took time to school us on this thing called slay. She attended the AFRIFF awards in a gleaming green piece by Sheye Oladejo. The dress with a knee length slit, showed off her curves and totally made her skin pop.
