Your Excellency, the movie which is also the directorial debut of Funke Akindele Bello a.k.a Jenifa premiered last night the 8th of December, 2019 in Lagos at the newly erected Ebonylife Place. The movie tells the story of Chief Olalekan Ajadi, a bumbling, billionaire businessman and failed presidential candidate, who is obsessed with Donald Trump. Just when his campaign looks set to be another disaster, Ajadi is anointed by a major party and becomes a credible contender – all through the power of social media. As the political drama unfolds, it seems possible that even the most inept candidate, with little to offer voters except viral soundbites and amusing antics, can mount a serious challenge for the presidency. The theme of the premiere was “Inaugral Ball” and trust our celebrities to bring their A-game to the fore.

The actor and producer looked super hot in this super stylish mint iro by Daisy Kulture. Instead of a slit the designer opted for a sheer thigh reveal and we love it. She paired this gorgeous piece with a dangling diamond earring and a stylish ponytail.
- Uti Nwachukwu
Model, actor and TV host attended the premiere looking like an excellent snack in a self styled green agbada over mustard senator by Femytoys. The cap and shoes totally sealed this look.
- Michelle Dede
Michelle went for a full blown ball gown from VChic Lounge. The singular sleeve was made with ruffles and the dress had a hidden pocket and for our favourite part, it had purple highlights when exposed to light. Super beautiful!
- Sharon Ooja
Nollywood actor and influencer Sharon Ooja attended the premier looking like a pageant queen in a white glittery gown from Somo by Somo. The floor length gown featured a thigh high slit and frills at the hips. We also loved that she opted for a high bun and that was decorated with a hair accessory. She chose a white purse and nude heels to finish off her look.
- Mo Abudu
The media mogul stunned in a gorgeously simple but super elegant reflective gown by the legendary designer Lanre Dasilva Ajayi. The dress fit her snugly and was right on theme. She accessorized with a silver bracelet and bold ring.
- Ini Dima-Okojie
Also elegantly dressed for the premiere is award winning actor Ini Dima-Okojie. She opted for a floor length white tulle dress by Mazelle Studio. The ice princess kept her hair in a bun atop her head and accessorised to a minimum.
- Waje
Award winning vocal power house Waje served full chili sauce in this gorgeous red feathered wool dress styled by Trisho Couture. She paired it with red strap heels, red lipstick, a silver clutch purse and the fierceness of the gods. From her hair to her feet, nothing about this look is off.
- Shaffy Bello
The legendary actor totally ate this feathered wool ball gown in green made by Enthyst Fashion Klinik. Shaffy never holds back when it comes to red carpet looks. She cinched her waist with a green belt to accentuate her waist. She also accessorized elegantly with bold rings, drop green earrings and a turquoise green purse to bring this look to a grand finish.
- Toni Tones
Award winning actor Toni Tones never holds back when it comes to fashion moments. She attended The Excellency movie premiere in a black mermaid gown. The gown hugged her in the right places and then cascaded from her knees into layers of tulles like a fish tail. She also had on a pair of black arm length net gloves with huge diamonds sitting pretty on her neck and wrists. This entire look is pure flames!!!

The celebrity couple stepped out for Your Excellency, the movie premiere in matching red. Funke stood out in a super glittering red and black dress styled by Medlinboss and her hubby complimented her in a red and black tux and a red bow tie. You can say they were 100% percent right on theme.
