Edusko is thrilled to announce the return of ACTIVATED, Africa’s premier education summit. Set for November 1st and 2nd, 2024, this year’s event will take place at the Shell Hall, Muson Centre, Onikan, Ikoyi, Lagos.
Formerly known as the Business of Education Summit, ACTIVATED has become a key event for education leaders, school administrators, educators, parents, policymakers, and industry influencers from across the continent. Over the past seven years, it has impacted more than 5 million students and welcomed over 20,000 attendees. This year, the summit anticipates over 5,000 participants across two action-packed days.
ACTIVATED 2024
ACTIVATED 2024 will offer a diverse range of activities, including plenary sessions, workshops, exhibitions, and musical performances. Attendees can also look forward to exciting gaming competitions and various edutainment options.
According to Mr. Jide Ayegbusi, CEO of Edusko, “Our theme this year, Beyond Classroom, encapsulates our commitment to ushering in a new era of teaching and learning.” He emphasises the need to empower the next generation of African leaders beyond traditional classroom settings.

Spotlight on Influencers and Teen Voices
A highlight of the summit will be a special panel featuring top African celebrities and influencers. They will discuss their potential to drive change in the education system and prepare the next generation for the future workforce. Additionally, a plenary session will allow teenagers to voice their expectations from parents, schools, and other influencers as they gear up for future challenges.
