And as it’s customary with award shows, guests, nominees, alumni all come in their numbers dressed in their best and who else to set your sight on the best looks if not us. Here are the best dressed stars of Thr Future Awards Africa 2019.
- Gedoni
Suited up in black pants and a glittery jacket by Jason Porshe is BBNaija PepperDem ex housemate Gedoni. He almost always keeps it simple and trendy and that is one of our favorite things about him.
- Bolanle Olukanni
Media personality and former recipient of the award Bolanle strutted her way to red carpet in a glistening gold gown by Samuel Noon. The strap gown was devoid of elaborate and exaggerated embellishments which was definitely a great choice.
- Lala Akindoju
Actor and producer Lala Akindoju showed us what a Nigerian mermaid might look like in this green sequin dress from House of Nwocha. However, we would have preferred she did without the head piece and opted for her hair to be styled in a low bun.
- Shaffy Bello
Legendary actor Shaffy Bello wowed in a turquoise blue dress from Enthyst Fashion. The neckline looks like flower petals and she’s the pollen tube. Absolutely delightful.
- Toni Tones
The “King of Boys” star was also a host at the event alongside Falz, Khafi and Temisan. This was her third look of the night. A floor length, blue off shoulder dress with a balloon bust. The dress fit snugly against her banging body and that hair choice is nothing short of perfect. She accessorized with diamond earrings and rings.
- Elozonam
Actor and ex housemate of the BBNaija PepperDem was super dapper in this long blazer from Bankole Thomas. He wore it over black pants and a white shirt. This was a hit!!! Elo we’d like to know your fabric plug please. Thank you.
- Toyin Abraham
Nollywood actor Toyin channeled her inner princess a ball gown from House of Khareed. She accessorized with a bejewelled clutch purse and dangling earrings.
- Temisan Emmanuel
We are totally obsessed with Temisan’s look for the event. He took it back to his roots dressed as an itsekiri man complete with the traditional beads and hat to match. A little extra fabric was added to his wrapper for a train and we love it.
- Khafi
Tolubally served us a scalding hot cup of Khafi in a glittering ombré dress of her creation, styled by Zack Aminu. She looked so stunning and we loved her up do. She wore statement diamond earrings and kept her wrists bare.
- Diane Russet
The beauty model left our jaws hanging in this black velvet dress from Jennifer Rowland. The one shouldered dress had a rather daring slit and feather finish. She paired it with a pair of studded strap heels and diamond earrings.
