This is officially the last edition of best dressed looks of September. This month was busy! There were a lineup of various international award events and parties such as the MTV Video Music Awards, BET Black Girls Rock Awards, Harper’s Bazaar Icons Party, the Emmys etc and in normal Glazia fashion, we dropped the tea on all the fabulous looks from each of these events. You can see them here.
Also, back here at home, the likes of Toke Makinwa, CeeC, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, and new comer to our best dressed list, Don Jazzy and more kept us drooling with back to back floor looks that we can’t get enough of. So, who made it to our best dressed list this week?
Here’s our top 10 best dressed stars of the week
1. Funke Akindele Bello
Popularly called “Jenifa” from her popular TV series of the same name, the star actor dressed in all black- which by the way is a terrific colour on her, as she stepped out for Omoni Oboli. The knee length dress from Julyet Peters had an intricate styling on the neckline abs sleeves. She finished off her look with black ankle-strap heels and a silver purse.
- Nancy Isime
Popular HipTV presenter and actor Nancy was in all gold as she hosted the Summer’s Biggest Premium Party. The theme of the event was high fashion and she opted for this gold dress with balloon sleeves and gold heels. Did she nail it? You tell us! But we definitely love!
- DJ Cuppy
Nigeria’s foremost female DJ, the “gelato” crooner Cuppy was out and about in Brooklyn, New York in this beautiful blue dress with tulle embellishments from TessaBecca and silver heels. She also had her statement pink hair on with little or no makeup to compliment the dress.
- Don Jazzy
Mavin Records boss, Don Jazzy shook the internet with this interesting one piece from a collaboration between Lunick Uri and Saah. The Don paired the one piece with black Air Force shoes and a black tee.
5. Dénola Grey
Fashion influencer and actor was casual and cool in a crisp white shirt and blue ripped jeans from Abercrombie &Fitch. In his Instagram post, he mentioned how hard it was to get jeans that suits your body and how grateful he was to get a good one from the above designer. We’re grateful he could find one too, so we can stare at him all day.

Make way! Coming through! Orange is definitely the new cool! This orange silk blazer on orange bodycon is the content we never knew we needed. Thank you Idia. She paired this monochrome look with silver heels and a brown bag.
7. Omoni Oboli
Actor and film director Omoni Oboli was fire and spice in this dress by CeoLuminee at the premier of her movie “Love is War”. The one shouldered dress in orange and red, had a thigh slit, and the outfit accentuated her hot bod! If fire was a human, this is what it would look like.
8. Sharon Ooja
Ugh! This lady! How does she do it? The “Bling Lagosians” star graced the “Love is War” film earlier this week in this lovely blue skirt that showed off her thighs with a slit from Somo by Somo and bag from Polo Avenue.
9. Alexx Ekubo
Nollywood heartthrob Alexx Ekubo was all shades of handsome during the week in black ripped jeans, black T and grey jean jacket, paired with green canvas. He definitely looked like the superstar that he really is.
- Ini Dima-Okojie
Nollywood actor Ini, who is no stranger to our list, hit the red carpet of the “Love is War” premiere earlier in the week in head to toe black. She had on a black short dress from Komee, black pumps and black alté glasses. She accessorized with a couple of knuckle rings and dangling earrings and all the sauce she has!
