The 71st British Academy Film Awards, more commonly known as the BAFTAs, were held on Sunday the 18 February 2018 at the Royal Albert Hall in London, to honour the best national and foreign films of 2017. Two-time BAFTA winner, Joanna Lumley who is best known for her role as Patsy Stone in Absolutely Fabulous was host at the glamorous night. Three Billboards Outside Ebbing, Missouri, was the biggest winner of the night with five awards, scooping top prizes including best film, original screen play, best British film and best actress for Frances McDormand.
