A Call to Action: Redefining Empowerment and Power

The #HerMoneyHerPower campaign is designed to inspire women to; take control of their finances, challenge harmful stereotypes, and advocate for policies that promote their economic advancement. Olalekan Obisesan, Project Manager at The She Tank, emphasises the campaign’s mission. “Our campaign seeks to elevate the conversation around women’s economic advancement by highlighting the critical distinction between empowerment and power. When a woman has economic power, she doesn’t just have access to the resources and systems that create prosperity. She has a voice and a choice.

Uche Pedro, the founder of BellaNaija said… “Our society stands to gain significantly from women’s economic power. In my opinion, it sparks joy as women are more fulfilled, it brings more financial stability to families, enables communities to recover faster from setbacks, and drives economic growth and resiliency at the national level,.”
