Stuart Weitzman has just unveiled its latest campaign, “How Lovely to Be a Woman,” premiering on September 4th.

This film captures the pleasures and pressures of modern womanhood, ultimately celebrating the triumph of simply being a woman today. Amidst the expectations and challenges, women continually rise to the occasion, embracing their confidence and standing strong. They power forward, skillfully navigating the many roles they play each day.

In line with this empowering message, Stuart Weitzman has introduced five new global ambassadors. Women who personify this theme in their unique ways; Aly Raisman, Christy Turlington, Issa Rae, Lucy Liu, and Ming Xi.

Aly Raisman – The Athlete Advocate

“I hope my legacy is normalising hard or more taboo conversations.”

Aly Raisman is a retired American gymnast and two-time Olympic captain. Raisman boasts three gold medals, two silver medals, and one bronze.

Beyond the gym, she’s a sports commentator and bestselling author, with her 2017 debut “Fierce” and her first children’s book, “From My Head to My Toes,” released earlier this year.

Aly is also a fierce advocate for abuse prevention, using her platform to change the conversation in sports and champion self-love, mental health, and body positivity.

Lucy Liu – The Nonconforming Artist

“I hope my actions reflect kindness, resilience, and a commitment to making the world a more inclusive place for future generations.”

Lucy Liu is an Emmy-nominated and SAG Award-winning actress known for her roles in iconic TV series and blockbusters, from “Ally McBeal” to “Charlie’s Angels.” She also boasts director and producer credits.

Issa Rae – The Modern Mogul

Issa Rae has taken the television world by storm. The writer, actor, and producer is best known for co-creating and starring in “Insecure,” a role that earned her the coveted Peabody Trailblazer Award.

A rising mogul, Issa owns the recording label Raedio, the production company Hoorae, and her own line of Prosecco, Viarae. She’s also a co-owner of Hilltop Coffee + Kitchen, an independent coffee chain in Los Angeles, and Sienna Naturals, a vegan haircare line.

Christy Turlington – The Model Maternal Health Activist

Beyond her modelling career, Christy is a passionate maternal health advocate. Inspired by her own birth experience, she founded Every Mother Counts, a non-profit organisation dedicated to making pregnancy and childbirth safe for every mother, everywhere.

A mother of two, she also holds a degree in public health from Columbia University’s Mailman School.

Ming Xi – The Balancing Beauty
