MET GALA 2022 | Ultimate Best Dressed Stars on the Red Carpet.

Annual fashion’s biggest night out, MET Gala 2022, was held on the 2nd of May at the Metropolitan Museum of Art’s Costume Institute in New York.

Co-chaired by Blake Lively, Ryan Reynolds, Regina King and Lin-Manuel Miranda, the theme for this year’s event was Gilded Glamour. The theme was inspired in part by Edith Wharton’s “The Age of Innocence” to honour the Gilded Age; from 1870 to 1890 which sparked prosperity, industrialization and growth.

The Gala, which has been actively held since 1948, was canceled in 2020 due to Covid-19 and delayed in 2021 for the same reason.

From the Kardashian/Jenner clan to music stars Alicia Keys, Giveon and Jon Batiste to the creme of Hollywood, there was no shortage of glamour on the red carpet. It wasn’t just glamour that made an appearance on the red carpet, some weirdly dramatic and down right unacceptable looks also walked through. We will save you the horror of those looks though.
