#GlazingHealth Challenge Day 2-

“Faced with crisis, the man of character falls back on himself. He imposes his own stamp of action, takes responsibility for it, makes it his own.” Charles de Gaulle

Normalcy is anything but normal right now, and this can breed fear and panic. This is why you should make the best out of this situation. We introduce to you, the Glazing Health challenge! It is a health crisis but how about you use this time to boost your wellness and come out stronger and better?

DAY 2 – Read a Short Book or Listen To An Audio Book

Many great secrets of the world have been hidden in books. Books are very resourceful; from making to research to providing quality entertainment – a book should be one of your best friends. Spanning from fiction, nonfiction, literature, politics, science, commerce, finance, tech, counseling, adventure, fantasy, horror, romance, comedy and the list goes on and on.

Author of the novel Fire and Ice which was later adapted into multi-award-winning series Game of Thrones, George R.R. Martin said “A reader lives a thousand lives before he dies . . . The man who never reads lives only one. “How does it feel when you keep seeing the same thing over and over again without knowing a different angle or more creative side to it? Bored right? Reading books help open your mind and mentality to various beautiful perspectives of different topics from the abstract to reality.

If you find it difficult to read through hardcover books or PDFs, then get audio books. You can listen to them as you go about your regular daily activities as long as your mind doesn’t wonder far from the moment.

Pick a book now and begin to read. Why? Reading books make you smarter, improve your memory and focus, lowers depression, exercise the brain, reduce stress, foster self-development, repair broken relationships, help with spiritually connection and of course, change lives.

The Richest Man in Babylon by George S. Clason, Who Moved My Cheese by Spencer Johnson, Art Matters by Neil Gaiman, Animal Farm by George Orwell, The Great Gatsby by Scott Fitzgerald, Frankenstein by Mary Shelley, Twelve Years A Slave by Solomon NorthUp and many others are amazing short books you need to read today!

So, tell us, what short book are you settling for today?
