“Oppenheimer” and “Succession” were the big winners of the night as some of the biggest names in film and television were honored at the 2024 Golden Globes on Sunday night.
Comedian Jo Koy hosted this year’s ceremony from the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles.
The night belonged to Oppenheimer – with five gongs including best dramatic film, best actor for Cillian Murphy and best director for Christopher Nolan – and the final, critically acclaimed season of Succession, which took home four, including best dramatic TV series and acting trophies for Keiran Culkin, Sarah Snook and Matthew Macfadyen. “Beef” scored the award for best limited series, anthology series or motion picture made for television.
